CPRC AGENDA MEETING May 10th 6PM COMMUNITY POLICE REVIEW COMMISSION (CPRC) Regular Monthly Meeting May 10, 2021 6:00 p.m. CST Members of the public are welcome to join this meeting. To join, click the Zoom link and it will open the Zoom meeting. If you don't already have Zoom installed on your device, you may want to join early to get set up. You will be asked to enter a passcode, which is CPRC. PUBLIC COMMENT Public comment will be allowed via Zoom. All speakers must register 48 hours in advance (May 8, 2021 by Noon). All public comment will occur at the end of the meeting. To speak remotely at the Community Police Review Commission, residents must: Email or call the CPRC at or (512) 974-9000. The information required is the speaker name, contact information, and the agenda item(s) they wish to speak on. The public meeting of the Community Police Review Commission will be held virtually on Zoom at 6:00pm. The following is the agenda: CALL TO ORDER 1. NEW BUSINESS a. APD Response to CPRC Recommendations on Case # 2019-0206 2. STAFF BRIEFINGS a. Community Presentations on Systemic Racism in Austin b. CPRC Presentation & Discussion: Bias in Policing 3. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS a. Discussion on improvements and practices concerning APD 4. PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS 1, 2, AND 3 ADJOURNMENT Complainants/members of the community may address the Community Police Review Commission about the above items.
