Complaint: The complainant alleges she filed a report with APD
for her case. The complainant alleges she has since had a hard time with
him; he has never returned any of her emails or calls for updates on her report. The complainant
further alleges she reached out to his Sergeant to get help and finally received a call from Det.
, at which point he was irritable with her, made her feel as though he had no regard for her
case, victim-blaming her and making it seem when she was talking about her incident that took
place as if it didn't happen as though she recalled it. The complainant alleges his demeanor was
harassing and aggressive with her. She is disabled and stated that she would like him to be under
review and has also requested to be assigned to a new detective.
This notice of formal complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and
Municipal Civil Service Rules.
