This notice of formal complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to conduct an investigation in order to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules. Recommended Administrative Policies to Review (to include but not limited to): 618.3.1 STOLEN PROPERTY Employees will only seize items considered as stolen property when reasonable grounds exist to believe it is stolen or when the items are readily identifiable and traceable. 618.6 RELEASE OF EVIDENCE AND PROPERTY Recommended Classification: The OPO is permitted to make a preliminary recommendation on the classification of administrative cases. The OPO declines to make a recommendation.
