The complainant alleges: On , was served a civil suit relating to Case ID - Report completed by . After a call to 311 to open a case of Identity Theft, we were referred to our local agency - . It was determined that the APD Officer mis-identified the and listed my wife as the driver to unit 1. This error has caused financial damages for increased insurance rates as well as attorney costs to defend against the law suit due to this Officer’s error. Upon calling back to 311 via the Oversight return call - APD did call and stated that was not listed on the report only a but could not provide me a copy and referred me to a records department. Horrible service from APD and when searching the data base, the report still identifies This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
