NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
February 11, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0082
On February 2, 2022 the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: She was kidnapped, raped, and held hostage for almost days. Once
she was free, she called the police and APD brutally assaulted and arrested her for criminal
trespassing. The 4 officers that beat her caused a concussion and bleeding on her brain. It has
been a rough couple of months trying to recuperate. She was the victim and looking for help but
was beaten up by Austin police which is not what she expected.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal
Civil Service Rules.
