NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
February 11, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0083
On February 7, 2022 the OPO received an online complaint.
The complainant alleges: After reporting my incident to detective
and not getting any
response for a while I asked for an update and he responded by saying they have been busy and
asks me if I want to continue with the case instead. I reply yes but then I was waiting for over a
again for a response. So now recently I say I want my stuff returned to me and then I get a
reply back
. Also, I was told I was "vindictive" at one point so I think because
the opinion of my detective and because I did not want to call the person who was involved in the
incident, but I was pressured to do so multiple times (by a higher up, who I assume is the detective’s
boss and also victim services counselor
) that my case has not been taken seriously.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal
Civil Service Rules.
