On April 4, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: The complainant was sitting at his desk looking out the window when
he saw an APD vehicle stop in the middle of the road. Two police officers got out and took
something out of the trunk of their vehicle and threw it into the bushes, then drove off. The
complainant walked over to see what it was and discovered it was an empty plastic wine keg.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal
Civil Service Rules.
