NOTICE OF COMPLAINT April 22, 2022 ICMS #: 2022-0311 On April 22, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint. The complainant alleges: The complainant received information that days ago a homeless camp of about 30 people and 10 tents were told they have only two hours to vacate the area. There was no previous sign or notification informing the persons living at his camp that this would occur. After the two hours, the tents and belongings were destroyed by the responding police officers. This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
